  Social Responsibility

  As part of the social responsibility to society, Credit Suisse Standard Securities(CSSS) sponsors two educational initiatives

  a) CSSS Student Financial Support Programme - University Of Johannesburg

  CSSS has committed to provide financial support for selected students from previously disadvantaged background to study a commercial degree at the University of Johannesburg. Annually we provide financial support to 2 selected students. CSSS also provides mentorship and vacation work opportunities to the students during the course period so that they get a feel of the working environment.

  b) Optimus Foundation - Adult Literacy programme

  CSSS provides financial assistance to the Optimus Foundation to finance the Florida adult education centre, where adults are taught to read and write.
